Teaching

I love teaching college mathematics.  I am currently a visiting assistant professor of mathematics at Saint Mary’s College, teaching courses in Calculus, Statistics for Business and Data Structures (computer science). At Notre Dame, I taught several courses, TA’ed many courses, and led a reading group on the topic of Hyperbolic Geometry for math majors.  I also worked with the Kaneb Center for Teaching and Learning’s TA workshop program, OpenCourseWare project and Research Experiences for Teachers summer program.  Finally, for two years I co-organized the math department’s program to train TAs and graduate instructors.

I also won a university-wide teaching award at Notre Dame in 2009, the GSU Outstanding Teaching Assistant award.
